My life has changed since I started using AirBnB and this really is me talking not an advert. 

So I will explain why, hotel rooms are so impersonal and to be honest they are not all that comfy, especially the ones I have stayed at in Spain, the beds are really hard. All the places I have stayed in with AirBnB have been someones home and lets face it we all love our homes and fill them with lovely comfy things.

All the homes I have stayed in had comfy beds, but they also had fully equipped kitchens even down to appliances and basic foods. The bathrooms had proper towels, you know ones that actually fit right around you. All the basics we needed were there like shampoo and shower gel which makes packing so much easier.

I usually travel with just hand luggage which as you know has a 10kg weight limit if you are lucky, so not having to pack little things makes life so much easier. 

I was worried at first that I might get conned and get there and find the room wasn't real, but each host messaged me all the way through the process and I built up a relationship which reassured me.

So far every host has been lovely and the accommodation even better than described but what I have really loved is that the accommodation was right in the heart of culture, where real families live and shop. 

We have been in stores where no one speaks English and I had no idea what most of the food was but the people were so friendly and accommodating. It was an amazing experience which I hope I can share with my friends x
